Tenured Associate Professor, PhD Supervisor at the Center for Higher Education Research, SUSTech, and Shenzhen High-Level Introduced Talent. She obtained her PhD from the UCL Institute of Education, University College London. She also holds concurrent positions as Secretary-General of the Higher Education Professional Committee of Shenzhen Education Society and Secretary-General of Shenzhen Association of Women in Science and Technology.

Her research focuses on higher education policy and governance, talent cultivation and evaluation, and the development of young universities. She has published nearly 60 academic papers in both Chinese and English journals, among which nearly 50 are indexed by SSCI or CSSCI. She has published 4 monographs in Chinese and English (including one as the first author), and has led and completed 1 National Young Scholars Project, 2 National General Projects, and multiple provincial/ministerial-level research projects. Her research achievements won the Excellence Award for Philosophy and Social Sciences Achievements of Shenzhen in 2023. She serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for several SSCI journals. She has been awarded "Outstanding Tutor of SUSTech Colleges" multiple times and won the "Outstanding Teaching Award of SUSTech" in 2024.
